The ECRA Youth Entrepreneurship Academy is a four-week educational program that takes students in grades six through twelve through the process of starting and running real businesses over the course of four weekly sessions.
Participants are guided through each step of starting an enterprise, from brainstorming the idea to pitching their business plan in close cooperation with entrepreneurs, local leaders and educators to develop ideas and objectives, write business plans, pitch a business concept, develop their businesses brand identity and much more!
The ECRA Youth Entrepreneurs Academy is a four-week workshop that teaches you how to actually start and run your own business. You come up with a business idea or concept, the instructor will help you discover how to turn your talents and passions into a business! You create a real business plan, pitch your plan to a panel of entrepreneur experts, and gain real-world knowledge on how to become successful as an entrepreneur harnessing your talents, energy, creativity and passion to launch a successful venture.
ECRA Growth & Educational Services offers a wide range of services and programs that focus on youth empowerment. The main focus of ECRA is to help young people recognize their ability to create a rewarding and fulfilling life for themselves.
Sessions will begin the first Saturday throughout the month of July, for three hours weekly on Saturdays from 12 noon- 3 pm (with the exception of during school breaks and holiday recess). Applications will be accepted from students ages 11 to 18 and in grades 6-12. Students are taught by an instructor, but are exposed to guest lecturers, successful entrepreneurs and business mentors.

Cultivate youth entrepreneurs with this step-by-step, fill-in-the-blank, fun and engaging workbook with over 10 pages of action-packed exploration!
Students learn how to realize the business ideas or the passion in their hearts that can translate into a profitable enterprise. Workshop instructors, local successful business leaders and entrepreneurs will provide training on how to craft a comprehensive business plan. Student teams will write business plans and learn best business practices and strategies for starting a business.

We’re seeking expert professionals to volunteer their time as guest speakers, mentors, investors, graphic designers, field trip hosts, business plan reviewers, and more. The time ECRA Youth Entrepreneurship Academy participants spend with adults who encourage their futures is invaluable, and you can play an important role in guiding our future leaders.
